”Merry Christmas Mr.Lawrence”(「戦場のメリークリスマス」)

I have nothing to do today, so I see the old movie named "Merry Christmas Mr.Lawrence" at my office.
I didn't know anything about this movie but its title.

It is very difficult to talk about something of this film. I cannot say I love this film, but also I don't hate it.
The theme of this movie is very interesting because it is different from another WWⅡ film taken by Japanese director. The director, Nagisa Oshima, seems to have particular feeling for WWⅡ and Japanese army.
